Teachings

Genesis 1:1 (ESV), "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."  The interesting reality behind this creative genius is more than inspiring and more than a tale to be told.  It is something that inspires new life even today.

Genesis 2:7 (KJV), “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”  This teaching exposes the intimacy of God in creating mankind and how that can apply for us even today.

Hebrews 2:11 (NLT), "So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters."  How do you view yourself in relation to Jesus?  Do you view yourself as one with Him?

Isaiah 62:6 (ESV), "On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the LORD in remembrance, take no rest." This series was created to encourage the weak and feeble to an enriched and empowered prayer life where they see the hand of God move in ways not yet experienced so as to fulfill His purposes in the earth.

Hebrews 4:1-2 (ESV),

“Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it. For good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened.”  I believe this is a struggle for a lot of us, which is why this teaching is so important.  We desperately need a rest that only comes from Jesus.

Romans 8:13 (NLT),  But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live.   Indeed those who truly live by the Spirit of God will live free from the desires of their sinful flesh.
