Purpose of Lights and Perfection Inc

Lights and Perfection was first of all, created by the will of God and not just an idea that anyone has come up with.  The truth is that God has been working in us for quite some time to illuminate certain areas of neglect and also confusion within the church, known as the body of Christ.  What is meant by this is that it has been made clear that we as a whole are not living up to the potential that Christ died and rose from the dead for.  In other words, we have been given all that we need to live a life of devotion to God through Jesus Christ but somewhere along the line many have fallen away.  Lights and Perfection was created as a ministry to bring to light the truth about biblical perfection and holiness according to the examples in the Word of God, the Holy Bible.  One example is found in Exodus 28:30 (NLT),

        "Insert the Urim and Thummim into the sacred chestpiece so they will be carried over Aaron's heart when he goes into the LORD's presence. In this way, Aaron will always carry over his heart the objects used to determine the LORD's will for his people whenever he goes in before the LORD."

This Scripture reference was used because of the correlation of Lights and Perfection and the Urim and Thummim mentioned in this passage.  The truth is that the terms Urim and Thummim actually mean Lights and Perfection.  And note that the High Priest Aaron was to have this on the breastplate along with the twelve stones that represented the twelve tribes of Israel.  The point mentioned in the passage of Scripture was that the objects of Urim and Thummim, or Lights and Perfection were put into the breastplate so that when Aaron went in before the Lord he would be able to determine the Lord's will as High Priest on behalf of the people of Israel.  In the New Testament We have Peter saying in 1 Peter 2:9 (NLT),

        "For you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light."

And as royal priests in a better covenant filled with better promises we to are to, in Spirit and in truth, go in before the Lord wearing the breastplate with the Urim and Thummim so that we can be able to discern the will of the Lord.  This comes from the better promises that this New Covenant has for us.  That is the promise of the Holy Spirit.  We then have access first of all to God by faith, whereby we enter into His Presence.  We assure our hearts before Him by being clothed with power from on High.  Through the Holy Spirit we can clearly discern the voice of God.  Jesus said in John 10:4 (NLT),

        "After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice."

And if we know His voice we will ultimately discern His voice and follow Him.  Thus we come to the purpose for the existence and the need of Lights and Perfection.  Again, according to the Urim and Thummim we are to discern the will of God, so it is when we have the Holy Spirit.  One thing that I have learned of today's Christian culture is that very few are actually hearing little own discerning the will of God for their lives.  It is our passion here at Lights and Perfection to revive this very simple and yet practical truth so as to lead many faith filled followers of Jesus Christ onto the mission of serving the One who died for us.  Won't you join us in this mission.  Start by first hearing this message and then partner with us together in prayer for a move of God to fall once again that reconstructs a right view of discipleship, which very simply is to hear the voice of God and follow His lead.
